Where Romagna Italy (home of Federico Fellini) and the SW of America meet you find Sacri Cuori. The cinematic sounds of Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone and Piero Piccioni collide with Tejano and US folk. Their new album ‘Rosario’ features members of Calexico (John Convertino), Los Lobos (David Hidalgo) plus Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Costello, Zorn), Jim Keltner as well as drafting in Isobel Campbell for the albums only two vocal tracks.
Equally amazing live, they have just finished a European tour backing and supporting Dan Stuart of Green on Red and are about to do the same with Hugo Race. Previously they have done the same with Richard Buckner, Robyn Hitchcock and Isobel Campbell.
